First, I hope everyone had a great Christmas! We definitely had an amazing time visiting our families and that post will follow tomorrow with lots of pictures:)
As we were getting packed up this morning to head home, I wasn’t sure what I was going to talk about for my Make the Most of It Monday post. Well, my material presented itself on the drive home. While I was fast asleep in the car, we hit some piece of metal and got a flat tire:( I woke up to Logan pulling off the interstate and the flat tire making some strange noises. As Murphy’s Law would have it, the tire that was damaged wasn’t one of the front tires that we planned on replacing anyway but a back tire that was in decent shape.
Luckily, Logan is a pretty handy guy and put the spare tire on in about 10 minutes and were ready to go. The gas station we pulled off at was right next to a Wendy’s (best fast food EVER!), so we were able to get a yummy snack for the rest of the ride home. I guess tomorrow I will be going to Sam’s to get new tires for my car, oh boy!
Otherwise, this was a really good Monday. We woke up this morning and got to play with Logan’s little brother, who happens to be the sweetest baby ever! I also didn’t get a picture of Logan changing the tire because I didn’t want to send him over the edge:) He did ask me later why I didn’t take a picture though.
