I have to admit that it’s not too hard to make the most of a Monday when it’s on Christmas Break. Today, I spent my Monday shopping with my friend Angie, her mom, and sister in law. We went shopping at The Avenue in Murfreesboro. I had never been, so it was fun shopping somewhere new. The best find of the day was this amazing little store called Charming Charlie. It is accessory heaven!

They have every type of jewelry imaginable, shoes, scarfs, purses, hats, and even some tops. I must admit that I was pretty overwhelmed for a while and just wandered around the store taking it all in. The store has everything arranged by color so you can accessorize any outfit with everything from a necklace down to the matching shoes. The best part is their prices are really reasonable, jewelery from $7 and shoes from $20. I had to refrain from buying myself a bunch of new stuff but did snag a few things for Christmas gifts. If you’ve never been to a Charming Charlie store, you should check out one in your area. If you go here, you can find one near you.
We also ate lunch at McAlister’s Deli. I recently discovered this yummy little restaurant on another shopping trip with a friend and fell in love. They serve soup, sandwiches, salads, and baked potatoes similar to a Panera Bread, only a little more laid back without all the people on their laptops. They also have the best sweet tea ever! I rarely allow myself to splurge and drink a straight sweet tea but here it’s too good not to.
I must say this has been one of the best Monday’s I have had in a long time. I hope everyone out there is making the most of your Monday too! And… there is only 5 days ’til Christmas!
